Hey everyone, so i take been using a netgear powerline k for about a year now and about 2 or 3 days ago the calorie-free switched to red. The connection oscolates between existence super slow to not being connected at all.
Im not certain why it would suddenly go out like this, no new electronics are plugged in in the firm.
Im curious if the powerline itself might need replacing due to being a twelvemonth old or if at that place could perhaps be another explanation for this. Id adopt to not accept to buy a new adaptor.
Whatever advice is greatly appreciated

From the installation guide:"Pick a plug" LED The Selection A Plug feature lets you pick the electric outlet with the strongest link functioning, indicated by the color displayed past the LED:
Ruby. Link rate < 50 Mbps (good). Amber. Link rate > fifty and < 80 Mbps (ameliorate). Green. Link rate > 80 Mbps (best). Off. The adapter did non observe any other compatible Powerline devices using the aforementioned encryption primal. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If that LED used to be Amber or Green, unit could exist faulty.
